MOCS Cable Internet
MOCS Cable Internet uses a combination of DGtek and CityCable’s network to provide FTTB broadband service, a better alternative to NBN Co to the high-rise buildings and apartments.
Service activation is usually done within the same day. A technician will be dispatched onsite, if required. The service activation may take 1-3 business days.
MOCS Cable Internet charges a full month in advance (generally on the 1st of the month) and are non-refundable. We will only pro-rata the fee of the 2nd service month to ensure your billing period is adjusted from your commencement date to the 1st of the month.
You can choose to pay for your service by direct debit from your nominated credit card or AMEX, 2% surcharge will be applied on each AMEX transaction. (Declined payment will be charged with a dishonour fee of $9.90 inc GST.) Please ensure you have sufficient funds at your nominated account.
Yes, you can. You may request to change your data plan/speed, at no cost, which will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
Yes, you can relocate your internet service as long as your new address is within the coverage of our internet service. Please note that each address may involve different connection types / plans and new connection fee or new development charge may incur.
Temporary internet suspension is only available for selected buildings. Email us on internet@mocs.com.au to check out the details. The minimum suspension period is one month, up to a maximum of three months.
We recommend making a choice based on your budget and usage. Buying broadband hardware from us ensures compatibility and ease of use. We configure and test the hardware thoroughly before sending it out; that way you can be sure the hardware works.
To access the MOCS internet, you will need to have a router/modem that allow for both configuration of PPPoE and Dynamic IP.
Please notes that we can only provide limited support to BYO router.
You must provide a written notice (including customer id, name, contact no., service address, termination date, and termination reason) at least 30 days before the next billing cycle. Otherwise, a full month charge will be applied, and it is not refundable.
Typical Evening Download Speeds are measured between 7pm-11pm and are subject to change. Actual throughput speeds could vary due to various factors. Hardware delivery fee $20. New Development Charge of $300 inc.GST may apply to the newly developed area. Terms and Conditions applied. Relocation service available to NBN serviceable area. Technician appointments may be required for selected buildings.
Typical Evening Download Speeds are measured between 7pm-11pm and are subject to change. Maximum attainable speed for FTTN/FTTB/HFC can only be tested when the service installation is completed at your premises. NBN Ultrafast plan is only available in selected NBN FTTP and HFC areas. New Development Fee will be $110 – $660 for the first NBN connection at a premises in a newly developed area. A fee may be incurred for a change of plan request.
